My human named me this because he was watching a Jimmy Stewart movie when he got the call to come and rescue me. I was found under an old machine on the edge of town with some bigger wild animals trying to get to me.

I was already fond of humans so they are pretty sure I was already a pet that either got away or was abandoned. I am not sure why any human would ever abandon someone so laid back and lovable as me!!

I do not mind being held, I kind of like it. If you are sitting and want me to keep your arms busy, I AM YOUR GUY! I will fall asleep right in your arms and not move until you put me down. I also understand sometimes you need time to yourself. IF you put me down, I will find a spot and wait until you need me again.

I am all right with other cats, and do not fight but I would be okay on my own. I like to be top cat and I do get into growling matches with some of the other dominate ones! So far we have restrained ourselves over many months though!

I like dry food and wet food. I like lying in the sun. I am not overly fond of high places so I tend to stay close to the ground or a few feet from it. I like playing, but if others are playing I tend to stay back. I am a pretty laid back calm guy.
